ENERBASA handed desks and school furniture to Aguacaliente, Choluteca

As part of its outreach activities, the company Energía Básica, S.A. (Basic Energy, S.A.) (ENERBASA), member of the Group Luz y Fuerza (GLF), renewable energy generator, recently delivered to the local board of trustees 65 desks and three complete furniture sets to be use by students and teachers respectively, of the “Luis Felipe Lardizabal” School in the community of Aguacaliente, jurisdiction of the municipality of Choluteca, in the southern area of the country.

Each year the company carries out a socioeconomic study to detect urgent needs in the communities surrounding the operating renewable energy park, then they are socialized with the inhabitants through communal trust, and at the end an agreement is signed to proceed to the implementation of the projects.

Marvin Nunez, president of the communal trust of Aguacaliente, was pleased by the support through the development of social projects received by the company and its executives. “We are very grateful to the family Kafie since from the start of operations ENERBASA have been identified with the people of this community. First was the construction of the community center, and, with this release of desks and furniture sets for teachers, a strong impetus is given to the education of our children, “he said.

Among its activities this year for the community of Aguacaliente, ENERBASA has also scheduled, to fully electrify the multipurpose community center,  built by the company last year, and has been very useful for the realization of social activities in this place.

ENERBASA signs social aid agreements with communities of Choluteca

The company Energía Básica, S.A. (Basic Energy, S.A,)-ENERBASA), renewable energy generator, member  of the Group Luz y Fuerza (GLF), located in Pavana, Choluteca, recently signed several social aid agreements with the communities of Guanacastillo, Pavana Center and Aguacaliente, in the department of Choluteca, which will be carried out during this year 2016.

Each year the company carries out a socioeconomic study to detect urgent needs in each place, then socialize with their inhabitants, and finally signed an agreement to start the implementation of the projects.

This year ENERBASA will make a donation of 65 school desks and three full furniture sets for teachers of the “Luis Felipe Lardizabal” Community School  in Aguacaliente, and will proceed to fully electrify the multipurpose community center, built by the company last year, and has been very useful for the realization of social activities in this place.

In the village of Guanacastillo the agreement includes the construction of a shelter to protect the newly installed water pump, which will also protect the control panel and allow space for the operator. Here the company will also support the health center with the provision of medical equipment and medical products for frequent use.

Also, the community of Pavana will be benefited with the supply and installation of a submersible pump that will boost water from a newly drilled water well that supplies the precious liquid to its inhabitants, including the provision of equipment, materials to be used and workforce of qualified personnel

Marvin Nunez, president of the board of Aguacaliente, said: “We are very grateful and happy for the support we have received from the company ENERBASA. Since last year all commitments made in the agreements have been met, demonstrating the seriousness and desire of this company, and especially the Kafie family, to support our communities. ”

ENERBASA complies with the community.

The inhabitants of the communities of Pavana Center, Guanacastillo and Aguacaliente, in the department of Choluteca, were very pleased with the social infrastructure projects that our company Energía Básica, S.A. (Basic Energy) (ENERBASA) inaugurated recently with an investment of nearly one million lempiras.
Before starting the mounting solar energy park works, the company began to socialize various projects, together with the Municipality of Choluteca, with Comunal Trustees and inhabitants of the communities. Today we are excited that the standard of living of many people are improved. We promised to deliver these works before opening the solar energy park, and we have complied.

For instance, in the village of Guanacastillo the inhabitants had serious problems with the supply of drinking water, a situation that was resolved with the construction of a tank with a capacity of 10,000 gallons.

In Pavana Centro, ENERBASA fully rehabilitated the water mega tank in order to provide the community with is safe and healthy water, and ensuring the permanent supply of this vital liquid.

In the village of Agua Caliente, a modern and completely new multipurpose community center was built.

Now this new building will be use for the development of civic and social events for the inhabitants of this community.
